Article on the Lordship of Lochaber
an extract from the Inverness Courier
January 29, 1834

The fine lordship of Lochaber, which from the associations of song and music seems part of the classic ground of Scotland, has, we understand, been disposed of in the following manner:—The first portion that was sold (which is the second in point of value) was purchased by Mr Walker of Crawfordtown, Dumfries-shire; the next lot was disposed of to Lochiel and Sir Duncan Cameron of Fassifern; and the largest and best lot was sold last week to Lord Aboyne.
