CAMERON CLAN RALLY IN CANADA Representatives of the Clan Cameron in Canada have been notified by Lochiel of the raising of a new Highland regiment and the request of Earl Kitchener. Five hundred men are required to complete the establishment. Sir Douglas Cameron, Lieutenant-Governor of Manitoba, has charge of the recruiting in Canada. Lochiel visited Canada last summer, and a series of Cameronian reunions occurred in various parts of the country. It is expected that Canada will contribute largely to the new regiment. |
